Independent Bank Corporation [IBCP] President & CEO to Ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell

What:

To celebrate 20 years on the NASDAQ, Independent Bank Corporation (IBC) (NASDAQ: IBCP) President and CEO Michael M. Magee will ring the bell to open the market Friday morning.

Magee will be joined in ringing the opening bell by recently retired President, CEO and current Chairman of the Board Charles Van Loan and Loren Adgate who served as IBC's first president and CEO from 1974 until 1992 when Van Loan took over.

IBC was created from First Security Bank in 1974, First Security Bank was founded in 1864 and IBC began trading on the NASDAQ in 1985. IBC's opening the NASDAQ celebrates more than 140 years as a financial institution, more than 30 years as a holding company with successful affiliates across Michigan and 20 years of success as a publicly traded company.
